Dear Brothers & Sisters Assalamu Alaikum!
Sheikh Bilal Asaad has been invited to conduct a week-long program in Sri Lanka by a group of brothers in January (4 - 10), 2012.
A series of programs being planned including the following:
- Jumma Khutba - 6th Jan, at the Bagatalle Masjid, Marine Drive, Colpetty
- Late evening post Isha Salah public lectures
- Visits to Islamic Schools to address/motivate teachers and students.
Exact program and date/time will be notified in due course when the itinerary is confirmed.
Electronic Media will drive the publicity campaign and YouTube/Facebook/E mails & Text Msg's will be used extensively.
WWW.SLMUSLIMS.COM will play the lead role in event publicity IA.
The organizers of the program are seeking financial assistance from USMAA to meet part of the travel costs of Sheikh and his family. As Sheikh Bilal is closely associated with USMAA and have inspired our members particularly, our youths on many occasions we would like to sponsor his Sri Lankan airfare costing around A$ 1,750 with your generous support.
