SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING
|
At the USMAA Annual General Meeting held on Saturday the 17th July 2010 the Election of Office Bearers for the year 2010 - 2011 was not finalized due to the poor turnout from the membership and a lack of nominations to fill the relevant official vacancies. Consequently, it was resolved that a Special General Meeting (SGM) of the Association be called to elect Office Bearers including the President and the below mentioned positions.
Given that there were no nominations received for the post of President at the AGM, the Trustees were requested to step in to rescue the Association and Bro Fahmi Haniffa accepted the post of President on an interim basis until the SGM is held.
In accordance with section 13a of the USMAA Constitution, the SGM will be held insha allah on Sunday 8th August at 5.30 pm at the Glen Waverley Community Centre, 700 Waverley Rd Glen Waverley VIC 3150 (corner of Springvale road and Waverley road)

Since the SGM is scheduled to be held on a Sunday evening, the idea is to meet early and disburse early. Dinner will be provided. Appreciate if you can confirm attendance.
